- Friends call me Checkers, Im currently studying pastoral leadership at Hillsong International Leadership College. Originally from Forster, our family moved to Nelson Bay (near Newcastle) in 2004. From there I got involved in a local church and youth movement. I believe that there is power in the blood of Jesus, salvation is found only in His Name. I believe the Bible is God's word, and it is His way of lighting our paths. God has a special plan for my life. I consider my 'home church' to be Beachside christian fellowship, even though i am studying at Hillsong. I find the worship at both churches inspiring and glorious.
